Winston Griner, MD, is a family medicine physician and the medical director at Affordable & Restorative Health in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Griner earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) before graduating with his medical degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He then studied in the department of epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed a health systems management program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts.

Prior to Affordable & Restorative Health, Dr. Griner served as an assistant professor in the Department of Family Practice at Meharry Medical College and an adjunct professor at UMBC’s Department of Biology. He has also worked at several hospitals throughout Tennessee as a geriatric staff physician, family medicine physician, and medical director.

He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. Dr. Griner is a member of the Tennessee Society of Addiction Medicine and American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is also a diplomate of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
